If initially HR NGO Forum was founded with the aspiration of effectively using UPR mechanism to improve the human rights situation in Mongolia, today it deals with a wide range of human rights issues, and has  expanded to become a voluntary association, which unites the greatest number of human rights NGOs effectively cooperating on human rights issues, reminding the Government to respect, protect and fulfill its obligations regarding human rights, demanding rectification of shortcomings, as well as striving to make effective use of other UN human rights mechanisms. 

Whereas in the first UPR cycle in 2010 HR NGO Forum prepared 9 reports for submission to UNHRC, this time we have prepared 10 reports.
